The Bailey Family of companies has been planning travel since the late 1930's when Professor Glenn E. Bailey, a teacher at York High School, operated trips for students and educators. In 1949 Bailey Travel was formed and Professor Bailey retired from teaching to peruse the vocation of travel full time.  The small Bailey family travel agency has grown to become Central Pennsylvania's largest family owned travel agency with dedicated divisions for:

The family business remains under family leadership under the direction of John W. Bailey since 1979. In 1998 Bailey coach was formed with 2 European style deluxe motorcoaches. Bailey Coach has grown from 2 coaches to 9 coaches and has added an airport transportation division.
