Philadelphia, PA National Constitution Center – Over 100 exhibits make this America’s first and only museum devoted to the United States Constitution and the freedoms that empower us. Liberty Bell Center – This new center features a video presentation and exhibits of this icon of freedom. The Liberty Bell itself is displayed in a glass chamber with Independence Hall in the background. Philadelphia Museum of Art – Founded in 1876, this museum showcases more than 2000 years of human creativity, collections, special exhibitions, and masterpieces. The Showcasing Renoir Landscapes exhibit opens in October. Philadelphia Zoo – Home to more than 1500 animals, many rare and endangered. The Zoo’s new $20 million exhibit, Bank of America Big Cat Falls opened last year. Ride The Ducks – This 80 minute amphibious sightseeing tour takes visitors through Philadelphia’s Historic District, Society Hill, South Street and then onto the Delaware River. |

National Aquarium - Encounter an incredible variety of the exotic inhabitants of our planet’s coral reefs, open oceans, rain forests, the Chesapeake Bay, and other habitats, including the island continent of Australia. Entering through the Aquarium’s new 65,000 square foot expansion, visitors will immediately encounter a 35-foot waterfall. Baltimore Zoo - The Baltimore Zoo, the third oldest zoo in the country, showcases more than 1500 birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles, representing nearly 200 species. Animals are displayed in natural settings replicating their native habitats. B & O Railroad Museum - Started as a trade show exhibit in the late 19th century, this museum is the oldest, most comprehensive American railroad collection in the world. Fort McHenry National Monument - This 43-acre parcel of land reveals a story in American history that spans from 1776 until the last military occupation as a US Coast Guard Station during World War II. Archeology adds to the preservation and understanding of the Fort’s architecture. Maryland Science Center - Experience seeing the wonders of science through hands-on exploration. The Center offers Enrichment Experiences, IMAX Films, Planetarium Programs, and Observatory Programs. Baltimore Museum of Art - A visit to the BMA helps students develop their powers of observation and critical thinking skills through modern and contemporary art. Prints, drawing and photographs are experienced from many collections. Edgar Allen Poe House - Edgar Allen Poe has been dead since 1849, and yet his ghost continues to haunt us. Poe was one of Baltimore’s greatest writers and his life was filled with tragedy, poverty and illness. Port Discovery - Port Discovery, the Children’s Museum in Baltimore offers three floors of interactive, educational exhibits and programs for children ages 2-10 years old. It was voted one of the Top 5 Children’s Museums in the US. |
